A COASTAL housing estate is kicking goals with its latest land release. Oakdene Estate has signed up footy commentator and former Geelong star Cameron Ling (pictured) as its ambassador as it launches a new selection of home blocks to the market. The stage eight land release comprises 38 elevated “family sized” lots ranging from 476sq m to 1467sq m.

Ling said every aspect of the development, in the heart of Ocean Grove, had been thoughtfully considered and carefully planned.

Estate spokesman Nicholas O’Donohue said strong demand for Oakdene land was expected to continue with the stage eight release.

“With six stages already sold out and strong buyer interest from baby boomer downsizers and young families, Oakdene Estate is set to redefine Ocean Grove living,” Mr O’Donohue said.

He said 11 of the 38 stage eight blocks had been snapped up on the first weekend of their release.

A family day last weekend attracted about 600 visitors, including residents and Ocean Grove community groups, with live entertainment and music, face painting and a jumping castle, as well as free food and drinks.
